RRP Trained Therapists

Marissa M. Boyce BA, BEd, MA (c)
Marissa Boyce is a trauma therapist, RRP clinician and clinician educator specializing in childhood and relational trauma. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s degree in Counselling, and spent more than a decade working in education before becoming a therapist.
Marissa first came to RRP through her own recovery work with Patrick Teahan and quickly became deeply invested in the model, both personally and professionally. Today, RRP is at the centre of her clinical work. She facilitates long-term RRP groups, leads Inner Child Immersion experiences, and trains and educates clinicians in the model.
Her work focuses on helping clinicians understand childhood trauma relationally, including the ways their own histories, adaptations and inner child experiences can enter the clinical relationship. She is particularly passionate about experiential learning, group work, and building a connected community of clinicians who can continue developing the RRP model together.

Corinne Blackmon, MA, NCC, LCMHCA, LPCA
Hi, I’m Corinne Blackmon – therapist and fellow childhood trauma survivor!
I help adult survivors of childhood trauma discover how their past is impacting their present so that they can find peace and start living life on their own terms.
I also enjoy working with my clients on the intersection of childhood trauma and their relationship with food, exercise, and body image. I employ both intuitive eating and weight neutral principles to help clients make peace with food and their body. I currently see clients who reside in North Carolina and South Carolina for virtual individual, couples, and group sessions.

RRP Therapists is a collective of trained therapists directly trained by Amanda Curtin LICSW or Patrick Teahan LICSW.
The Instagram page lists therapists by location in the linktree. Follow if you don’t see a therapist in your area, as we are currently training more in the RRP Childhood Trauma model.
